Dear Fred, I wanted to write to you Fred to let you know how pleased we are with our new SJS camping interior. Before buying from you we visited many different places that were selling interiors of varying quality and price, after meeting you and seeing the quality of your work and your attention to detail in the units that you had made for a online customer, I was more than happy to place my order. I had also like to thank you for your patience, as I changed my mind several times before finally selecting the combination that suited me best. Before buying our tin top type 2 camper we had a VW T4 high top, we really thought we would have a struggle in the type 2 after previously having so much space in the high top. I'm pleased to say we were wrong; your interior has made camping a breeze and if anything the type 2 feels much bigger than it actually is. The extra cupboard space is a bonus and I don't think that I could be any more comfortable than snoozing on a much larger than average bed. Fitting the units was also a breeze, especially with the excellent telephone support you provided. Kindest regards Chris & Carol

Our overall conclusion is that you did a perfect job; Everything fits well, or can be fine-tuned. The material is beautiful and light. Volkswagen T2 facelift
We spent ages looking for the right interior to put into our new van after our old T2 was stolen. Having had one before we kind of knew what worked and what didn't and knew what we wanted. I loved the photos of interiors on the SJS web site and we decided to go up to Fred's work shop to take a look. It was just what we were looking for and the quality was outstanding. We ordered straight away and Fred sorted us out in really quick time. He was a delight to deal with. I found the installation very straightforward and the instructions very useful. The end result has transformed the van and the finish looks like a professionally installed interior. I can particularly recommend the interior if you want the maximum storage without sacrificing too much width on the bed. We are still amazed how much we can take away compared to our old van. We have just bought a massive order off Fred to fit out our 1973 Type 2 Bay Window. All the furniture and fittings were absolutely beautfifully made, you could tell it had been done with love and fitting them in was not too difficult at all. At all times Fred was readily available and really helpful, putting up with all my idiot questions and requests. We went up to pick it all up and were made very welcome having a cuppa in Fred's camper! I would heartily recommend anyone who is considering going with SJS to go for it. First class all round. Definitely better to build your van yourself than send it off to a garage, cheaper, more fun and rewarding and when things go wrong, as they will, you know how to sort it more quickly! Cheers Fred!

After being to lots of shows and round a few other companies looking at interiors myself and my dad decided that for each of our VW Bay window campers we were going to buy from Fred. Compared to others out there Freds interiors were a great price while not compromising on quality. I agree with his wife when she says hes a perfectionist and you can see it in the craftmanship, knowledge and quality of his products. Even after we took the units back up to Scotland Freds only been too happy to help when we've been calling him for advice on some of fitting some of the interior. I can tell you that Fred is a perfectionist. All his work is the best and he pays attention to the finer details, so that everything looks "spot on" as he would say. He gives his best to every customer, and never leaves people waiting for a reply to an enquiry. If its an enquiry about something he doesn't do he will direct you to someone who does. Only the best is good enough for Fred.
